The British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) is pleased to partner with NHS England to sponsor up to two places for its members on the Topol Digital Fellowship programme. These places are intended to develop successful applicants into digital leadership and technological literacy champions within dermatology.

BAD members are invited to submit applications via the usual Topol Fellowship application process proposing to work on projects for digital innovation in a dermatology setting. As with all applications for a place on the fellowship, these proposals should describe the unmet need, the local support for it and an anticipation of the impact the digital innovations could have.

These fellowships are open to all members of the BAD across the four nations of the UK and are intended for delivery over 0.2-0.4wte of the week for a 12 month period. Block periods of study are not possible. Successful candidates will be appointed having gone through the same rigorous application and recruitment process as all of the participants on the fellowship programme. Appointed fellows in dermatology will also be part of the technology workstream part of the Education Unit at the British Association of Dermatologists.
